Mission Hill is an established neighbourhood on the rise just south of downtown Vernon, around Vernon Jubilee Hospital. If you work at the hospital, you can be at work in about two minutes. Polson Park, with its Japanese Garden from 1967 and Vernon Creek newly restored to a natural channel in 2025, is at the bottom of the hill, and Mission Hill Park has a popular off-leash dog area.
