Life in Alexis Park

Alexis Park is a close-in neighbourhood on the northwest side of downtown Vernon, along Alexis Park Drive. Downtown and Vernon Jubilee Hospital are both about five minutes away, and the neighbourhood elementary school is right in the middle of it, which makes it a practical choice for young families, first-time buyers and investors.

It's also a great base for getting outdoors. The Grey Canal Trail has a trailhead at Alexis Park Drive and Turtle Mountain Boulevard, and the Swan Lake Nature Reserve, with its trail and viewing tower, is only a couple of kilometres up Old Kamloops Road. The view homes of Turtle Mountain sit just uphill.

Alexis Park is changing, too. The City approved three 10-storey apartment towers, called The Hills, on Alexis Park Drive in 2022, so expect more new housing here over the next few years.
