Canadian Lakeview Estates is a hillside lake community at the far west end of Tronson Road, past Adventure Bay, looking straight down Okanagan Lake. It's quiet and green, with deer and plenty of other wildlife, and the lake views are some of the widest in Vernon.
The heart of the community is its lakefront beach club. Residents have a sandy beach with a swimming wharf and diving dock, a boat launch with a launch wharf, picnic tables, and change rooms and washrooms. The Lakeview Estates Community Association runs summer events like a family fun day and beach clean-ups, and the neighbourhood is a recognized FireSmart community.
Kestrel Estates and other pockets
- Kestrel Estates: a gated enclave within Canadian Lakeview, on Kestrel Place, with lake-view lots (a recent one was a third of an acre) and custom homes that can top $3 million.
- Peregrine Way, Swallows Place, Farchant Way and Garmisch Road: single-family view homes and the occasional building lot.
- Townhomes on Tronson Road: newer three-bedroom townhomes near the entrance, a more affordable way into the community.
