Life in Adventure Bay
Adventure Bay is a custom-home community on the south-facing slopes of Okanagan Lake, just past the west end of Okanagan Landing off Tronson Road. It's quieter than the Landing, with lake, vineyard and mountain views, and it feels like a lake retreat while still being about 20 minutes from downtown Vernon.
The big draw is the private waterfront. Residents share a sandy community beach with a wharf and swimming dock, plus tennis and pickleball courts and a network of walking, biking and dog-walking trails through the forest and meadows. In winter, some of those trails double as cross-country ski routes.
Everton Ridge Homes develops the community, and its newest phase, Morning Glory, sits at one of the highest points in Adventure Bay for wide-open lake views. You can buy a lot and build with one of the approved builders, or buy a finished home.
What you can buy here

Adventure Bay owners pay an annual Recreation Facilities Use Agreement fee that maintains the beach, wharf, courts, trails and green space. A recent listing showed about $780 a year. That's very reasonable for private lake access, but confirm the current amount on any lot or home.

- Clarence Fulton Secondary (Grades 8–12). A 30-acre campus beside Grahame Park, with strong athletics, arts and trades, the district's largest international program, and the AWAKEN outdoor and inquiry program.
Want French Immersion? It runs at École Beairsto Elementary and continues at W.L. Seaton Secondary, which is also known for drama, musical theatre and music. Landing catchments were adjusted for 2026–27, so always confirm your address with the SD22 school locator.
